For small plates and bowls which is great because i'm making smaller portions for healthier eating. Shipped and arrived in good time. Photos are deceptive about the size. Open your hand as wide as possible, thats just about how big these stretch out to. I am happy with them and will buy more. I wouldn't use these in the microwave just for food safety; plastics can leach into food. Use a paper plate to cover in microwave, absorbs more of the steam.
