Works perfectly. Tried with an older HDD and an SSD. Both were recognized instantly and nothing seemed off.
The USB-C connection is a bit tight on my laptop, but it still fits.

Nice gadget, easy to carry around.
As specified, works with 2,5" SSDs and HDDs, does NOT work with 3,5" HDDs - they probably need more power than what USB connector can give.
Very reliable, good connector. Reading an old SSD i got 26 - 28 MBps speed.
